I would like to give Bountiful Baby a huge thank you yet again for giving me the opportunity to reborn a prototype of this brand new kit sculpted by Michelle Fagan. Ginger is happily smiling his way through his first ever Christmas and has the most adorable character, you just have to pick him up and hug him! He has a soft tie on chest/tummy plate and a thick head of irresistable soft spiky dark brown hair together with exquisitely realistic colouring.

He is an utterly irresistable baby boy! As usual in the UK this time of year, I have been struggling with daylight for the photos and I don't like to use too much artificial light. The photos of Ginger are varied, but on the plus side they give a comprehensive idea of how he looks in differing lighting and types of daylight.. Ginger is a prototype reborn from the'Ginger' kit sculpted by master artist Michelle Fagan for Bountiful Baby.

Beautiful Lauscha full round blown glass newborn eyes with special tinted sclera. Tie on chest/tummy plate that covers his front down to his navel.

Gloriously fine baby hair created from the best alpaca and kid mohair available from Delta Dawn. Entire baby weighted with specialist fillings. Hand applied real hair eyelashes. Beautifully coloured and textured'living' skin. Ginger is all boy, absolutely adorable and so cuddly! I have given him the most gorgeous translucent soft newborn colouring with masses of detail which is not overdone but gentle and natural. His rosy fingertips and toes are exquisitely detailed with perfect nails and tiny half moons. I work with Genesis heat set paints in many painstaking layers which produce an amazingly realistic life-like satin baby skin finish that is totally durable and permanent. His skin is sealed with a specialised sealer to prevent the unnatural shine that occurs when the baby is dressed and undressed and provides a soft dewy finish. Ginger has a very thick, realistic directionally rooted head of absolutely beautiful soft, straight, finest dark brown alpaca hair from my wonderful friend Dawn Marie. I have carefully used two different types of hair to recreate the soft under hair present at birth and new growth of silkier, stronger hair just like a real newborn. His hair really does behave like the hair of a real infant and sitcks up so adorably when you want it to! It does not need constant attention to keep it looking so natural, I have not restyled his head at all in between getting dressed and undressed for his photoshoot.. His head has been carefully sealed inside with waterproof glue so that his lovely baby fine hair can be carefully washed and styled easily. I have given this adorable baby boy gorgeous blue eyes that have the slightly tinted blue sclera (white of the eye) to replicate a more realistic newborn eye, together with very fine eyelashes and delicately hand painted slightly'3d' eyebrows. His happy little mouth and tongue have a delicate touch of shine which is not overdone and he has tiny moist areas around his nostrils and eyes. I have given Ginger a newborn magnetic pacifier (the magnets can be removed if desired). Baby Ginger will come to you with the following. Gorgeous cream cotton matching set by designer'Bebe Bonito' constisting of: Full romper with animal design front, long sleeved top, vest with matching leggings, bib, pair of booties, pair of scratch mittens and hat. Warm winter fur lined knitted cream/palest coffee jacket by'Miniclub. Hand knitted (by me) pale aqua cross over wrap long sleeved top with matching hat and booties. Yellow fitted nappy with liner. Silver grey and white striped long sleeved wrap over cardigan by french designer'Bebe Reve.

White fitted nappy with Nippa fastening. Tie on body plate which covers Ginger from his chin to just below his navel. Baby's body signed by me and marked'prototype. A lot of time, patience and commitment goes into each and every one of my babies to create a special heirloom quality reborn. Thank you so much for looking at Ginger! All my babies come from a pet free smoke free environment.

I've spent a great deal of time creating this absolutely unique and incredibly realistic baby. Once you pick him up you won't be able to put him down! Only the highest quality materials are used. Remember though, Ginger is not a play doll or a children's toy.
