Owen was painted using multiple layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. Depth and dimension were created with blushing, creasing, mottling, veining, strategically placed milk spots (milia) around eyes, nose and below the mouth. He has a slight moisture effect around the eyes, nostrils, ears and chin areas as well as a natural-looking skin blemish effect on the cheek, to recreate a little scratch from those sharp baby nails. Owen has a slight lanugo effect, or the soft and fine hair that covers the body and limbs of a newborn, around the forehead and eye area. His nostrils are naturally shaded and unopened (to protect the integrity of the vinyl). His little nails are tipped and glossed. He's protected and sealed with multiple layers of matte varnish. Owen has painted hair that never needs to be fixed.

It always looks perfect and realistic! He sports "barely there" painted newborn brows. His little lashes are rooted using premium yearling alpaca mohair, which is sealed from the inside.

Owen is weighted like a real newborn with tiny glass beads and fiber fill. He has a gender neutral cloth body that is gathered in the chest and baby booty areas. He has full arms and legs for many more clothing options. Owen is stuffed just right so that he's a cuddly little guy.

We are a clean, smoke-free, kid-free and climate controlled environment. WARNING: I've placed a strong Earth magnet behind Owen's mouth for a magnet pacifier. I will happily remove it on request. Reborns are not play dolls for children but 3D art, heirloom pieces for mature doll collectors, gentle role play.
