Full length Arms and Legs. I'm thrilled to share my baby Laurie, creating Laurie has been a joy, and she's been brought to life using the beautiful'Laurie' sculpt, from Cassie Brace.

I acquired this sculpt directly from the artist, and she is number 38 in a limited edition of 1200. I chose to style Laurie as a girl with blonde hair and decided to retain her given name, Laurie, although it can certainly be changed. I cam provide further pictures to view if you would like to message me. I have used Genesis heat set paints to build up her detailed skin tones, baby milk spots (milia) tipped and sealed nails, painted eyebrows, lightly varnished mouth and I used'IArtReborn, Matte skin' matte medium to complete her soft skin. Laurie is a realistic'Newborn' size and I have weighted her approximately 5.5lbs as this gives her a realistic feel for holding her. Laurie has full length arms and legs on a lovely soft cloth body and is evenly weighted in her legs and arms using glass beads and virgin fibre fill, I have weighted her head and she has weight in her bottom which is surrounded with fibre fill. Her head and body is naturally floppy so will need supporting, like a real baby.

I have hand-rooted Laurie's hair with a beautiful mohair from'Happiness for Dolls' in Poland, in a stunning baby blonde shade. The hair is delightfully baby soft and I have fully sealed inside. For brushing, I suggest using a new toothbrush and combing gently with a mix of diluted baby shampoo or conditioner and water, She will come home with a baby brush. Laurie is comparable in size to a newborn baby, perhaps just a few weeks old.

Should you consider adopting Laurie for a younger collector, it is imperative to remember that Laurie is NOT A TOY but a piece of ART, incorporating small components, and thus, MUST be treated with LOVE. Laurie has a magnet fitted behind her mouth to hold her magnetic dummy. (The magnets I use are extremely strong neo magnets these can be potentially unsafe around pacemakers, PLEASE message me if these need to be removed). Laurie will present a delightful unboxing experience, featuring her personal photo book as well as all the new items and clothing showcased in her photographs. All Cassie Brace paper work, bag and dummy are included. She will be presented with tissue paper and ribbons.
