Little Ethan has been painted with many ultra thin layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints to build up his baby's skin tone with subtle veins, mottling and capillaries, in my own individual style and colour blending which has taken me many years to master.

He has been given a sheen on his nails and lips to give them a nice authentic look, he has been painted with incredible attention to all the smaller details to bring. A more realistic lifelike appearance. To me the ultimate way to create the most lifelike image of a baby is the rooting!

This beautiful baby has been. Rooted with super fine fine, silky and soft mohair of the very best quality on the market. This is the most time consuming part of my work - a very long process to give the reborn baby a very natural look and beautiful baby hair.

I micro root directionally so that babies hair flows in to a nice swirl at the crown of the head which looks incredibly realistic. The hair has then been sealed from the inside, so you can gently wet and style it as you please.
