This would make a wonderful gift for aloved one that they can cherish. This baby has been made from a reborn kit Tolliverthe enchanted creature Brownie sculpted by Lauren Jaimes. This doll is gender neutral although I'll refer toit at as a she, you can dress it as a boy if you prefer.

This reborn dollwas lovingly made with hours of effort going into making her as realistic aspossible. Thisreborn is around 1lb 5 oz in weight, and 11 ½ inches long from head to toe or 12inches measured around bent legs.

She has full length vinyl limbs and vinyl head. Allthe vinyl parts are painted with a mixture of high-quality acrylicair-dry paints and matte folkart glass and tile medium, built up inmany fine translucent layers to give the depth of skin; right from the fineveins under the skin to the blotchy blush of the top layers to give a rosy butfantasy complexion with darker blue stripes and white dots. The nails on thehands and feet have been detailed with lunulae and nail tips. The vinylparts have been sealed with "IRHSP heat set matt varnish" for extra durabilityand this gives a satin appearance and a lovely feel to the skin. Little detailslike her lips, nails, and eyelid creases have been painted with a shiny glossvarnish for added realism.

Black/dark brown premium Mohair which is platted back. Has been rooted down the centre of the head and dark brown mohair has beenrooted in the upper lash line and curled to create eyelashes. The hair can be styled with great caution as Mohair isvery delicate and fine. Only style the reborns hair while it is wet with a softtoothbrush or a soft baby brush very gently, brushing the hair while dry canmake it become brittle and break off, also don't tie the hair back with a hairbobble. All the hair has been sealed inside the head with a water-resistant glue. Thisreborn has beautiful yellow glass eyes set in place with a strong glue whichalmost appears to follow you as you tilt the head.

Glow in the dark littleraised dots have been added to give a fantasy magical feel, these will needcharging with a bright light to activate before illuminating in the dark. The glowingeffects dissipate over time so the paint would need charging again with abright light to see the effect again.

There are pictures to show how thisreborn looks in daylight then in low light with the glow in the dark paintcharged. Thereborn body is made from a soft doe suede flesh coloured fabric. Thebody has been painted to tone in with the rest of the reborn, please handlethis cautiously as excessive rubbing could cause the colour to come off. I haveadded a little tail to the body too. Her vinyl limbs and head are secured to her bodywith cable ties. There is a neck ring on the neck to allow the head to turnmore easily. Thehead and limbs are filled with a high-quality fibre filling andweighted with micro glass beads adding to the overall lifelike feel (her headrequires support just as a real baby's would). The body is filled with a bit offibre filling but mostly a very soft and squishy "Babyfat" this is a siliconebead/pellet; this has a very satisfying feel to it and it retains heat betterthan tradition baby fillings so as you cuddle your baby your body heat willgently warm the tummy and make it feel more real. Inside the head, behind themouth is a strong rare earth magnet fixed in place. Please be aware that magnets shouldnot be placed near pacemakers or electrical appliances. Pleasenote Reborn dolls should be handled with care as you would a real baby, kept ata moderate temperature and away from sharp objects to avoid accidental damage.
