I so enjoy the art of reborning. Making blank vinyl doll parts come to life through the art of reborning is a source of tremendous pleasure and pride for me. Each baby created in my nursery is a unique work of art made from the highest quality materials. They are heirloom quality babies that (with loving care) will stand fast against time to be passed down through many generations. Please join me in introducing my little Willa. She was created from blank kit number 741 of 999. I have enjoyed every moment that I have dedicated to bringing this beautiful baby girl to life. It is my pleasure to find a loving home for her though I will have a difficult time parting with this very realistic little girl. I have absolutely fallen in love with her and I hope that you will too. I do not have another Penny kit and there are so many beautiful kits available that I very rarely reborn the same kit twice. If you have fallen for this sweet girl, please don't let her get away. There won't be another like her. Willas journey began as a brand new vinyl kit that I carefully washed to remove any factory residue. She was then given her amazingly lifelike skin tones and subtle veining using many layers of Genesis heat set paint. Each crease and wrinkle has been carefully shaded. Each fingernail and toenail has been meticulously detailed and triple sealed.

The sweet little hands and feet are so important to me. I have noticed that they are the first parts of a baby that people examine. I work very hard to make sure that they are incredibly realistic looking.

Notice Willas ultra realistic skin tones and texture. Her delicate barely there eyebrows have been carefully painted. Her nose and mouth have been glazed for a realistic moist look. I have given Willa very subtle veining, with realistic mottling and undertones. No detail has been overlooked with this little angel.

Her rooted eyelashes frame stunning mouth blown German glass eyes in a beautiful deep green shade. I have taken all of Willas pictures using natural daylight and professional photography lighting. I have made every effort to depict her in the truest light possible so that my buyers will know how she will look in their own home.

Her photos were taken at different times of the day in dim lighting as well as bright lighting thus some photos may appear darker than others. I also recommend viewing her listing on a desktop computer and monitor. I have noticed that photos tend to appear darker on tablets, cell phones and some laptops. For tactile as well as up close realism, I feel that there is just no substitute for rooted hair. I love the downy softness of this baby's head as I cuddle her close.

Willas hair has been directionally micro rooted in a natural growth pattern with a beautiful shade of medium brown straight premium yearling mohair. I used a 43 gauge forked German needle that only grabs one or two hairs at a time so that the hair looks like it is growing right from her scalp. It feels just like real baby hair! Willas hair has been sealed on the inside so that it can be brushed and styled. I have included pictures with her hair both wet and dry. Her hair is actually dry in most of her photos. It lies very naturally against her head and doesnt require much styling. Every part of Willas skin has been varnished and sealed for protection.

Please note that Willa has a magnetic pacifier and hair bow. These magnets are strong so extra caution should be taken if you are sensitive to magnets or have a pacemaker. I will be happy to remove Willas magnets upon request.

Amys Dollhouse is a smoke free environment. Baby Willa has FULL vinyl arms, FULL vinyl legs and a soft doe suede body with a gathered chest and tushie that was custom made for her.

She is so much fun to cuddle. Her body has been filled with soft fiberfill, polypellets, and squishy "baby fat" pellets for realistic weighting. The baby fat pellets have been strategically placed within soft bags inside her tushie area. Her head and limbs have been filled with tiny glass beads and soft fiberfill. Willa will feel so real in your arms that you will not want to put her down.

Willa is about the size of a newborn baby. She is so perfectly weighted that she snuggles into your arms just like a real baby. Be careful to support her head as you would a real newborn baby.

Baby Willa wears size 0-3 month and some larger newborn real infant clothing. Her Gymboree sunsuit is size 0-3 month.
