This is a listing for the beautiful twins Genevieve & Josephine. Genevieve is Limited Edition 2 of 800. Josephine is Limited Edition 87 of 500. Wow, Cassie Brace is an amazing sculptor. These babies are truly gorgeous and compliment each other beautifully.

They really do look like twins! Genevieve has a closed mouth and Josephine has an open one so you can tell them apart.

They are non gendered so if you would like either of them to be boys they will look just as good. Both of these cuties have been painted with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paint. I take pride in my work and spend a lot of time on the details such as the veins. All of the little creases have been subtly enhanced and they have been blushed in all the right places.

The finger and toe nails have been tipped with a flesh colour for realism, rather than a bright white manicured look. They have mottled skin and newborn blotches on their faces. They also have some little milk spots on their noses! The lips and nails have been coated to make them glisten in the light. They both have hand rooted ash blonde Mohair that is so soft and lifelike. The Hair can be gently brushed and styled with a toothbrush and water. The eyebrows have been painted on hair by hair to match. The eyelashes are also created with hand rooted mohair. The eyes and nostrils are closed. Both babies have been weighted with quality glass beads and padded out with non-allergenic toy stuffing to make them extra cuddly! They have skin coloured cloth bodies and a tummy plate that ca res on top. If you would like to see photo's of the glass beads and stuffing i use please just send me a message. They also both have strong magnets behind their mouths for dummies. The twins both have full arms and legs. The limbs are slightly bent and it looks so adorable. They both have one closed and one open hand but are slightly different for each twin. I have always loved art projects, as a child i would sit and draw pictures all day long.

Drawing eventually developed into painting and i began painting photo realistic portraits of pets and babies for customers. I learnt from the best my dad!

One day i decided I'd like to try something new and i had seen a documentary about reborn dolls, from then on i had to make one! I was fascinated by how amazing and realistic they look and thought it would be a great project to try out. I love spending hours and hours on these precious babies and i actually fall in love with them when they are complete. Skip this step if you would like a surprise box opening experience!
