She is petite and incredibly realistic from the top of her lovely soft head to the tip of her toes. I have given her gentle newborn colouring and the most beautiful blue newborn eyes that look so trustingly into your own. She is one of those precious sculpts that'speak' to you and really do have a life of their own. I hope you love her as much as I do!

Our natural daylight is fading fast in the UK this time of year so I tried to take Daisy's photos in a variety of light to show how she looks in many situations which explains the variety in the subtleties of her colouring.. Daisy has been reborn from the Limited Edition'Daisy' kit sculpted by Gudrun Legler. Full legs and 3/4 arms. Gloriously fine baby hair created from the best kid mohair available.

Beautifully coloured and textured'living' skin. I couldn't resist leaving in this photo of little Daisy with her hair sticking up, she looks so cute! I have given baby Daisy perfectly detailed yet delicate colouring typical of a relaxed newborn baby. There is an incredible amount of detail on this sweet baby girl and I have given her a lot of newborn characteristics such as the tiniest scratch on her cheek. She has a gorgeous natural translucence to her skin and one or two very subtle areas of dry skin.

Her rosy fingertips and toes are exquisitely detailed with perfect nails and tiny half moons. I work with Genesis heat set paints in many painstaking layers which produce an amazingly realistic life-like satin baby skin finish that is totally durable and permanent. Her skin is sealed with a specialised sealer to prevent the unnatural shine that occurs when the baby is dressed and undressed and provides a soft dewy finish. Daisy has a very realistic, directionally micro rooted head of beautifully fine and'newborn fluffy' dark brown hair. It really does behave like the hair of a real infant and does not need constant attention to keep it looking so natural. Her head has been carefully sealed inside with waterproof glue so that her lovely baby fine hair can be carefully washed and styled easily. This adorable baby girl has a tie on tummy plate that can be easily removed when not used so that the baby retains her cuddliness. She has the most beautiful blue eyes that are infinitely realistic and especially made with a slightly tinted sclera typical of newborn babies that adds so much to her realism.
