My nursery name is Maria's Babies So Real. I have been reborning since 2005.

Before Reborning, I painted using oils, watercolors, acrylic and I did china painting too. I have many years of experience in drawing, painting both reborns and the fine arts too. I have won blue ribbons for my watercolor and oil painting at our Florida State Fair. You can see in my paintings that my work is detailed and realistic. This desire to paint in realism, I also apply to my reborn babies.

Maria's Babies So Real - Lifelike Creations. Dorothy Marie is from the lovely sculpt, Sophia Grace, by Natalie Scholl. She is limited edition and comes with her Certificate of Authenticity.

Because she is a'just born' baby, I gave her a bit more veining, and capillaries. Note her beautiful lips too. I tried to capture her skin coloring in my photos as best as I could, the pictures are large and clear, but monitors can vary greatly. Photos are taken during different times of the day and some in the evening.

I have added enough photos to offer a good idea of her skin etc. Dorothy's weight and height are found on the first picture. So my babies are very real looking. I love what I do! NOSE I did darken the inside of the nostrils for realism and depth.

NAILSThe nails have been painted a very soft color and sealed for protection. BODY Only finest of glass beads and poly-fil for softness is used. HAIRI have several years of painting reborn hair. I painted baby's hair with different brushes using the Genesis paint.

You will notice the very fine wispy hair. Please note baby's beautifully done hair in the following photos.
