My name is Linda Hill and I'm the sole artist behind LilyBug Nursery. I have been creating these wonderful babies for about 7 years and enjoy it more each day. The sculpts and the painting/reborning techniques continue to push the boundaries of realism and as a painter/reborner, I'm continually researching and searching for new materials, ideas and ways to bring these sweet babies to life. Over the years, I have developed my own signature style of painting using GHSP. I use many, many translucent washes of color to build depth and realism for skin tones. I love micro rooting with the finest mohair or human hair in natural swirls and growth patterns. Choosing the appropriate clothing, staging, photography--I love it all. I want you to see what I see when I have completed the transition from baby doll to BABY!

I will always endeavor to live up to the standards of this organization! I teach Advanced Painting Techniques and offer PDF and Printed Tutorials.

My babies can be found in two European Doll Museums and have won. Portrait Sculpt by Ping Lau. Fabric upper body with non jointed full arms and jointed to all-in-one vinyl torso with full legs. Light baby brown kid mohair 3 rooted in a natural swirl and growth pattern.

Beautifully realistic hand painted eyebrows. Amazing clear very blue German glass eyes. Painted with GHSP in many many layers of translucent washes to achieve a dimensional depth.

Baby has veining, capillaries, shading and mottling suited to a young baby. Paints are permanent and will not rub off or fade over time. As with any painted item, please keep out of direct sunlight. Her paint has been lightly sealed with GHSP matte varnish.

Her little fingers and toes have subtle realistic nails, double sealed with a semi-gloss varnish. Body that has been weighted to feel like a real baby using fine glass beads and soft premium fiber fill. Photos have been taken at various times of day in natural light and normal home lighting so you can see how she will look in different settings.

My studio and home are 100% smoke free. I belong to and participate in several industry forums and try to stay abreast of the changes and new products and techniques in the reborning world. To you, the collector, this means I will always do my very best work in all aspects of the reborning process and that I stand behind my work 100%.

All hair accessories are included! Accessories such as pillows, stuffed animals, blankets, etc. Are NOT included but are props and remain the property of LilyBug Nursery and Linda Hill Art Dolls. Baby will be safely presentation packed.
