Kristina Dolldale reborn doll by Julia Savelieva, Kristina by Sheila Michael

  

I crafted Kristina Dolldale from the Sheila Michael's Kristina soft vinyl kit with full-size limbs, and anatomically correct girl body. Her skin is very soft to the touch and has the same visual appeal as the silicone dolls. Because it is so delicate, it is filled with soft vinyl granules rather than glass beads which might hurt her.

She is 18 tall and weights 2.9 Lbs, corresponding to a newborn baby. Her arms, legs, and head are jointed. You will have the freedom to pose your reborn baby any way you like. She's sleeping with micro-rooted premium mohair eyelashes fringing her closed eyes. Her thinnest infantile hair is also made from ultra-premium mohair, micro-rooted one-by-one with a fine-gauge needle.

Such rooting takes weeks of meticulous work. I sealed the hair from inside with waterproof glue. I painted her skin with many layers of Genesis heat set paints.

To create the look of a real 1.5-month-old baby, I painstakingly applied subtle veins, mottled skin, blushing, and tiny capillaries. NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OLD.
